Just one original production out of the three on offer, but it has been an essential for the Miami native since early spring, as Los Angeles talent Mike EFEX teams with Seattle duo Sean & Xander for Brainstorm. Fusing Mike’s unforgiving tech basslines with Sean & Xander’s knack for the right melody, the track is ideal material to ascend the energy within a liveset.
Complimenting Brainstorm is a pair of remixes, both of label favorites over the past 12 months. Jordan Suckley’s remix of Markus Schulz’s Bombay (Mumbai) for the City Series Collection gets converted to the VASSY led vocal piece Tomorrow Never Dies, and Kris O’Neil provides a melodic yet groovy touch to Omair Mirza & Avari’s infectious Perfect Imperfection.
Whether its the clubs or the festivals, these three tunes are welcome to many.
