Markus Schulz – Destino
Release date: 2014-07-28For most DJs, the summer season signifies a journey to the magical island of Ibiza, which throughout the years has provided some of the most inspirational productions. During his work on the Scream 2 album, this instance occurred for Markus Schulz, whilst sitting outside the Destino hotel.
Despite the quaint ambiance, Markus adapted his surroundings and envisaged the track as a signature for one of his much loved cities – Montreal. From that Wednesday Ibiza evening, Destino was born, and since the beginning of this year, has been an almost constant request anywhere he plays, thanks to its spine-tingling melody.
To compliment the original, Markus turns to the talented Australian Aaron Camz. Following up from his massive original Emission from earlier in the year, Aaron gives Destino his usual techy treatment, providing the track with a harder edge for festival season.
