Markus Schulz presents Dakota – Stereo 11AM

Despite an array of accolades under his own name, it is perhaps Markus Schulz‘s dedicated Dakota project which resonates as deeply as any chapter in his career story. When differentiating each facet, Markus compares the differences between an introvert and extrovert. ‘With the Markus Schulz productions, they are based on my feelings and interactions towards the fans; the broader experiences of life, and things I see. With Dakota however, it comes from a more considered place, something inside, something that can only be conceived when alone’.

Enter Stereo 11AM, normally the conclusion of the 11th hour of Schulz’s famed open to close solo DJ set experiences at the cherished clubbing mecca of Stereo in Montreal. A feeling of retreating into the introverted shell, reflective in tone, and breathing in the ambiance after an accomplishment. A piece which can find itself straddled between the lines of progressive house, melodic house and pensive-led trance.
